Leaves, teabag prints, and flowers…making journals

I’ll be at the Shemer Art Center tomorrow, March 15th, for the Garden Art Show 9 am to 4 pm. Stop by if you get a chance. There will be 20 artists of all kinds and a MicroDwell Exhibit in the Shemer orchard area.

These are some of the nature journals I’ve been making….

I’m using dried leaves, native and non-native flowers, and some prints on teabags for the covers. The binding is done with a selection of sticks I’ve been collecting.

I’ll have nature journals, moths, and some of the new gouache paintings on reclaimed doors there. We are also paired with the MicroDwell event that is ongoing at the Shemer.
